| For over fifteen years Dan Dolan Homes has built throughout the eastern Iowa area, achieving and maintaining a reputation for quality, reliability, and value in new construction. The tradition continues today with projects underway in Davenport, Muscatine, Blue Grass, LeClaire, Clinton and Iowa City. Dan Dolan brings many years of experience and hard work into his company. It all started back in 1979 when Dan pursued a career in petroleum exploration working on offshore drilling ships. Traveling around the world, the job demanded rigorous working hours, hard work, and months away from home. After ten years in the petroleum industry, Dan settled down in Iowa, trained and graduated as an electrician, and with, wife Celeste started his family. His career in real estate started in the mid-eighties when he began purchasing homes to renovate and rent. The transition into building homes was a natural progression upon realization that building new homes would make more housing available to the community than renovating existing older homes. In 1991 he began building and selling homes, and in 1995 acquired land for the first sub-division in Blue Grass, with the first home offered for sale in 1997. |
